The
occurrence
of
β-blocker
drugs
in
aquatic
environments
worldwide
has
caused
increasing
attention
to
their
threat
human
health
recent
years.
It
is
essential
monitor
these
widely
prescribed
pharmaceuticals
natural
waters
and
sediments,
helping
us
investigate
potential
risk
humans
ecosystems.
In
this
study,
a
passive
sampling
technique,
diffusive
gradients
thin-films
(DGT),
was
systematically
developed
for
eight
frequently
detected
β-blockers.
effective
capacities
target
compounds
were
large
enough
the
devices
deploy
several
weeks.
uptake
all
linearly
correlated
with
deployment
times
during
7-day
laboratory
experiment
agreed
well
theoretical
line,
except
(e.g.,
ATL)
due
relatively
slow
rate.

needs

Field
deployments
