Cadmium (Cd) pollution restricts the rice growth and poses a threat to human health. Nanosized selenium (NanoSe) is new nano material. However, effects of NanoSe application on aromatic performances under Cd have not been reported. In this study, pot experiment was conducted with two varieties soil concentration 30 mg/kg. Five treatments were applied at distinct stages: (T1) initial panicle stage, (T2) heading (T3) grain-filling (T1+2) both stages, (T1+3) stages. A control group (CK) maintained without any Se. The results showed that, compared CK, T1+2 T1+3 significantly reduced grain content. All increased Se number per panicle, 1000-grain weight, yield due pollution. highest recorded in T3 treatments. Compared all 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline (2-AP) content impacted pyrroline-5-carboxylic acid 1-pyrroline which are precursors 2-AP biosynthesis. conclusion, foliar content, improved rice. best amendment applying

In recent years, there has been a significant growth in scholarly attention to the effects of Cd stress on horticultural plants, as reflected by abundance research articles this issue academic publications. Therefore, it is necessary conduct review current and provide comprehensive perspective quickly grasp latest developments future trends field “horticultural plants-Cd responses”. By utilizing visualizing bibliometric analysis software CiteSpace, study integrated analyzed total 4318 relevant records—2311 from Web Science (WOS) database 2007 China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database—related responses”, covering period 1999 2024. A visual was conducted form knowledge mappings, including status well differences publications’ temporal distribution, spatial distribution (cooperation networks) intellectual base between foreign countries, precisely uncovering core aspects topics related field. The results indicated following: (1) Scientific responses” experienced increase publication volume entered phase rapid development. Globally, an annual average 217 WOS since 2019, while China, 134 CNKI 2015. (2) most productive country terms (1165 articles, 52.79%), engaging active partnerships with other countries worldwide. Chinese scholars (Lin L. Liao M.) are leading researchers both domestic international fields network collaborations among authors institutions seemed denser compared that database. (3) International hotspots have focused accumulation, tolerance oxidative stress, domestically, focus antioxidant enzymes, seed germination.
