Climate
change
and
eutrophication
have
significant
impacts
on
aquatic
ecosystems,
with
phytoplankton
playing
a
critical
role
as
primary
producers.
This
study
investigates
the
relationships
between
communities
environmental
meteorological
factors
in
Wuliangsuhai
Lake,
representative
ecosystem
an
arid
cold
region
of
China.
Using
data
from
25
sampling
sites
(April–September
2023),
generalized
additive
model
(GAM)
was
employed
to
analyze
water
quality
laboratory
measurements.
The
results
showed
bimodal
distribution
density,
peaks
July
(5.33
×
106
cells/L)
August
(14.90
cells/L).
Green
algae
dominated
spring,
while
cyanobacteria
became
dominant
summer.
GAM
analysis
revealed
that
temperature
(TEMP)
driver,
explaining
20.7%
deviance.
When
TEMP
examined
together
other
factors,
explanatory
ability
significantly
enhanced,
finally,
explained
57.10%
also
different
species
responded
differently
cyanophyta-dominant
Pseudoalgae
being
more
sensitive
pH,
whereas
chlorophyta-dominant
Chlorella
affected
by
wind
speed
salinity.
Cyanobacteria

In
this
study,
we
build
an
empirical
model
to
estimate
pigments
in
the
South
American
Lake
Villarrica.
We
use
data
from
Dirección
General
de
Aguas
Chile
during
period
of
1989–2024

trophic
condition

using
a

quality
variables
