We investigated the growth, preferences, and thermal resistance of sea cucumber Isostichopus isabellae to understand its biology. Sixty individuals were kept in tanks at two temperatures (23 °C 26 °C) for 30 days determine their favorable maintenance temperature. Their survival rates specific growth measured establish ideal conditioning temperature laboratory. The cucumbers’ preference was evaluated over a gradient from 20 29 °C, behavior monitored 4 h. They preferred which they acclimated, aligning with identified this study. did not find differences average weight loss between experimental temperatures. highest rate (86%) observed 23 can be considered most critical maximum (CTMax) minimum (CTMin) determined by gradually heating or cooling water until cucumbers showed podia movement body relaxation. CTMax established 36.5 ± 0.3 CTMin 8 0.5 °C. Based on these results, could negatively respond increased temperatures, so we recommend maintaining 2.3 captivity use aquaculture.

As product diversity continues to expand in today’s market, there is an increasing demand from customers for unique and varied items. Meeting these demands necessitates the transfer of different sub-product components production line, even within same manufacturing process. Lean has addressed challenges through development kitting systems that streamline handling diverse components. However, ensure contribute sustainable practices, it crucial design implement them with environmental considerations mind. The optimization warehouse layouts preparation areas essential achieving efficient logistics. To this end, we propose a comprehensive study aimed at developing optimal layout, is, creating zones minimize waste, reduce energy consumption, improve flow materials. problem location assignment classified as NP-hard, complexity increases significantly when both storage are considered simultaneously. This aims address challenge by employing genetic algorithm (GA) Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) methods system minimizes consumption. Through implementation algorithms (GAs), 24% improvement was observed. enhancement achieved simultaneously optimizing layout area, demonstrating effectiveness integrated operational strategies. substantial reduction not only contributes lower costs but also aligns sustainability goals, highlighting importance material practices modern logistics operations. article provides significant contribution field addressing vital role green supply chain management practices. By aligning operations offers practical insights advances broader conversation around environmentally conscious
