In order to understand the distribution, occurrence forms, and influencing factors of chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), copper (Cu) in soil aggregates, a five-step extraction method was used determine their forms aggregates different sizes mountainous area northern Hebei Province. The ecological risk evaluated using geo-accumulation index (Igeo) primary secondary comparison value (RSP). Redundancy analysis (RDA) identify main affecting distribution morphology Cr, Ni, Cu soil. results showed that vertical were concentrated surface soil, but there no clear relationship between depth heavy metal content. characteristics revealed soils mainly existed relatively stable Fe-Mn oxides residue states, did not vary considerably with particle size. Furthermore, RSP pollution higher, Cr Ni posing highest 0.5–1 mm 1–2 size ranges. RDA available phosphorus organic matter (SOM) caused characteristic difference aggregate components. Additionally, hydrolyzed nitrogen, cation exchange capacity (CEC), calcium have positive effects on residual state Cr. For SOM, CEC exchangeable binding Fe Mn carbonate. Cu, are key cause morphological differences aggregates. Based above results, theoretical basis has been provided for prevention control subsequent research area.
