Numerous studies in Iraq have attempted to determine blood cholinesterase (ChE) activities with varying results agricultural workers and veterinarians exposed pesticides. This meta-analysis answers the specific inquiry of whether or not ChE decrease previously The included 14 records extracted from 12 after employing Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analysis (PRISMA). These comprised pesticides (n = 635) versus their respective control cohorts 416). We employed one-group random effects model Newcastle-Ottawa Scale (NOS) examine study quality. combined effect size group (% activity control) was significant at 86.13 %. Heterogeneity (I

Agriculture, the cornerstone of sustenance for over a billion people, faces substantial challenges in meeting food demands growing global population projected to reach nearly 10 by 2050. The need increase agricultural production 70% is compounded decreasing arable land, labor shortages, and environmental such as droughts, floods, soil degradation, pests, diseases. Modernizing agriculture through advanced technologies like IoT, AI, cloud computing, edge fog 5G critical optimizing crop quality quantity. In Morocco, sector transitioning more digital intelligent model with initiatives MarocFarm, which integrates various tools aid farmers. This research project examines impact these on Moroccan agriculture, proposing solutions current future

the persistence of diseases such as gummosis and root rot, mainly caused by Phytophthora spp. species, notably P. parasitica citrophthora. These result in symptoms leaf wilting, reduced growth, rot. However, a detailed characterization species involved these their distribution is necessary for implementation effective control. The aim study to characterize associated with rot citrus Morocco, well select most resistant rootstocks replace Sou orange, often used Moroccan orchards. Fourteen isolates were identified Significant differences observed mycelial growth sporulation potential among culture media used. Isolates also showed variability pathogenicity, some displaying high strong aggressiveness on leaves branches rootstocks. Sour orange appears be relatively resistant, while Citrange C35

Pesticides are chemicals used in agriculture and residential areas to repel or control certain forms of plant animal life that considered be pests. Many these harmful may damage the DNA, alter gene expression, induce oxidative stress, act as Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs). Some pesticides have also been classified potentially promoting cancer by international regulatory bodies. People working with exposed higher levels, whilst rest population is primarily through diet when private areas. Occupational biomonitoring studies shown exposure increase breast risk, especially for highly toxic no longer authorised but still persist environment. Very limited evidence suggests dietary risk; meanwhile, some suggest organic food reduce risk. Whilst more research needed on health benefits food, swapping conventional produce an effective way pesticide exposure. Where this not possible, fruit vegetables should washed tap water.

Leukemias are among the most common childhood cancers. Although its causes still unclear, parents' environmental exposure to carcinogenic risk factors may have considerable potential. In this context, we revised literature concerning parental pesticides, development of leukemia in offspring, and underlying molecular mechanisms involved. This systematic review was based on PRISMA methodology. Only original studies were included; articles case reports excluded. total, 312 screened. Of 29 selected 14 included review. The main findings described above raise hypothesis that pesticide be related offspring. However, reinforces lack well-designed highlighting mechanism triggered by relationship with cancer. provides strong evidence supporting between pesticides While gaps remain understanding precise involved, emphasize potential posed highlight need for clarify biological pathways.

A 2018 report from the Water Quality for Human Consumption Vigilance Information System (SISÁGUA, Brazil) showed presence of 27 pesticides in Brazilian drinking water, which 11 have carcinogenic potential. We assessed data municipalities Paraná state southwest, a rural landscape with high cancer rates. selected potential provided by international agencies (alachlor, aldrin-diheldrin, atrazine, chlordane, DDT, diuron, glyphosate, lindane, mancozeb, molinate, and trifluralin) estimated number cases attributable to water contamination pesticides. Also, we correlated such findings incidence mortality rates ten topographies obtained National Cancer Institute (INCA) database. total 9 cities were selected, corresponding about 81,000 people. All towns had all quantified water. About attributed 2014–2017, mainly linked diuron mancozeb. Concerning consolidated reported INCA, significant correlations found regarding alachlor, atrazine breast cancer, prostate mancozeb colon among others. Regarding rates, some between DDT trifluralin breast, lindane prostate, glyphosate lung cancer. Moderate several topographies. Our highlight correlation southwest its increased cancers poor prognosis.
