Abstract Background Inflammation and nutrition are crucial pathogenic mechanisms in Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). The Advanced Lung Cancer Index (ALI) effectively reflects the systemic inflammation level nutritional metabolic status of patients. However, its relationship with hepatic steatosis fibrosis remains unclear. study aimed to provide novel insights into prevention by examining between ALI Controlled Attenuation Parameter (CAP) Liver Stiffness Measurement (LSM). Methods To identify connection fibrosis, this utilized descriptive analysis, multivariate linear regression, smooth curve fitting, threshold effect analysis investigate data from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey conducted 2017–2020. Results levels NAFLD (AHF) groups were considerably elevated than control group, statistical significance (NAFLD: 70.980 vs. 58.680, P < 0.001; AHF: 72.420 63.360, 0.001). Multiple regression analyses indicated significant positive associations quartiles both CAP LSM levels. There was a fitting LSM, inflection points at 88.287 98.420, respectively. Conclusion findings suggest correlation LSM. Maintaining within an appropriate range may help mitigate prevalence fibrosis.

Exposure to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) has been increasingly linked mental health disorders, but the relationship between VOCs exposure and suicidal ideation (SI) remains unclear.
