These disruptions trigger renal inflammation, oxidative stress, metabolic dysregulation, impairing function. significantly alters microbial communities, impacting metabolites like short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), bile acids, trimethylamine N-oxide (TMAO). imbalances contribute chronic inflammation fibrosis the gut-kidney axis.
