The intersection of the circular economy and technological obsolescence is pivotal for understanding sustain- able consumption innovation's impacts on product lifecycle management. Prevailing literature emphasizes producer-driven often overlooks consumer's role in replacement decisions, par- ticularly a economic context. This study bridges this gap by exploring consumer-driven resulting implications longevity strategies. Employing composite methodology that integrates modeling with net present value analysis, article investi- gates timing optimal from consumer perspective. It challenges conventional minimum cost per unit time methods introducing profit-equating strategy tailored to principles. Key findings reveal paradoxical dynamic wherein increased advancement can inversely affect timing, underscoring consumer-centric view obsolescence. Conclu- sively, research refines our reconstructing its rationale within economy, thus offering nuanced insights sustainable management policy- making.
