Sustainable building practices are a response to environmental issues. Businesses and industries assessing how their activities affect the environment. The architecture, engineering construction (AEC) have significant impacts on environment economy, while industry is considered one of largest contributors greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions has, therefore, been highlighted by researchers as key area intervention with great potential reduce impacts. This paper critically reviews evaluates current state sustainable certification systems purpose having good understanding status quo possibilities for future directions in Saudi Arabia. It academic literature Arabia’s green/sustainable codes, standards, systems, methods tools. starts addressing sustainability broadest sense. Then, it investigates strategies Arabia, followed an introduction new practice healthcare assessment. Life cycle assessment (LCA) information modelling (BIM) techniques also investigated. introduces updated Building Code (SBC) further evaluation Green (SBC 1001-CR). Finally, clearly highlights role need develop system that considers trends local context.

Although Smart Energy Technologies (SETs) are proven effective in reducing energy consumption and improving efficiency buildings, adoption of these technologies remains low. Scholars argue that lack willingness to adopt SETs could hinder the transition SETs. To address this challenge, study integrates substantial literature about technology acceptance, applied Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as theoretical framework. The research model proposed consists TAM, five external factors which have been selected based on review. A survey-based method was used, sampling more than 3,000 residents from various cities across Denmark. validated includes examining effects TAM (e.g., attitudes, trust, knowledge, policy, social influence, awareness) Behavioural Intention (BI). majority results show statistically significant BI at p= <0.05, except Perceived Usefulness (PU) greater 0.05. Specifically, Ease Use (PEOU), awareness, policy influence BI. On contrary, PU has no p = 0.904. findings relevant for reasons. Firstly, it is important ensuring residential buildings can participate Danish goals. Secondly, provides a valuable reference stakeholders such scholars, providers, makers foster buildings. Lastly, will be added acceptance.

The carbon emissions of the construction industry pose a significant challenge to implementing China’s peaking and neutrality goals. This study considered how promote stable green building (GB) development. First, evolutionary game theory (EGT) was applied examine interaction mechanism complex behaviors between governments developers, constructing two scenarios static dynamic subsidies. Second, we proposed ideal state where government does not give funding subsidies developers take initiative build GBs. On this basis, simulation method used verify models primary conclusions. Finally, detailed sensitivity analysis selected parameters undertaken. results demonstrated that subsidy policy phase-outs could help in development GBs; probability an positively correlated with supervision punishment, it negatively research can be as reference for improve incentive measures decision support stakeholders adjust their strategies.
