Greenways are important natural environment places in cities, which have a great restorative effect on human physiological and mental health. The restoration of urban greenways the physical health residents is affected by type greenway space. In order to reveal effects different types waterfront spaces body explore environmental factors, this paper firstly used expert survey method construct an AHP (analytic hierarchy process) model, yielded three criterion-level indicators eight sub-indicators. Second, taking Nanxun Avenue Greenway Wenjiang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, China, as example, it was divided into spaces—waterfront space, underwood lawn space—on basis field surveys. A total 30 subjects participated outdoor experience collected their psychological data. results experiment showed that all had health, them were effective lowering blood pressure heart rate, well eliminating negative emotions increasing positive for most participants. space best effect, followed main factors differed among each spaces. This provides insights examples exploring benefits greenways.

Comprehensive Comparative Analysis and Innovative Exploration of Green View Index Calculation Methods DOI Creative Commons

Despite the widespread use of street view imagery for Green View Index (GVI) analyses, variations in sampling methodologies across studies and potential impact these differences on results, including associated errors, remain largely unexplored. This study aims to investigate effectiveness various GVI calculation methods, with a focus analyzing point selection coverage angles results. Through systematic review extensive relevant literature, we synthesized six predominant methods: four-quadrant method, six-quadrant eighteen-quadrant panoramic fisheye method pedestrian method. We further evaluated strengths weaknesses each approach, along their applicability different research domains. In addition, address limitations existing methods specific contexts, developed novel technique based three 120° images experimentally validated its feasibility accuracy. The results demonstrate method’s high reliability, making it valuable tool acquiring images. Our findings that choice significantly influences calculations, underscoring necessity researchers select optimal approach context. To mitigate errors arising from initial angles, this introduces concept, “Green Circle”, which enhances precision calculations through meticulous segmentation observational particularly complex urban environments.

Under the new normal of China’s development, urban construction has shifted from incremental expansion to optimization existing stock. As focal point stock, old communities have garnered increasingly in-depth research. Recent studies extended their perspectives physical spaces interactive relationship between “space and behavior”, while also emphasizing integration qualitative quantitative analyses. However, research primarily focuses on static characteristics material spatial environments, neglecting dynamic interplay attributes social network relationships. This study takes Cangxia Community in Fuzhou as a case study, employing analysis (SNA) construct dual-network model resident behavior public space. Through three-level “overall–subgroup–single point”, intrinsic behavior” is revealed.
