Urban parks are vital public spaces that provide cultural ecosystem services (CESs) enhance the well-being of city dwellers. As demand for CESs has greatly increased, imbalance between CES supply and become prominent. Accurately identifying whether meets supports urban park planning management. However, supply–demand gap lies not only in quantitative resource deficits, but also spatial mismatch demand. At present, scientific quantification methods comprehensively consider both relationships remain inadequate. To fill this gap, we propose an integrated framework combines analysis to identify CESs, using Shanghai as study area. The consists three major steps: (1) mapping parks; (2) relationship by combining through bivariate with statistics; (3) categorizing into four scenarios based on quantity balance matching, corresponding proposals. results show 136 sub-districts belong space matching type, while 79 belonging imbalanced quantities including 41 mismatching type. Notably, 15 face a situation where is less than Our findings solid basis key areas conflict prioritizing targeted interventions. This approach improves efficiency provision, addresses growing high-quality rapidly urbanizing regions.

Urban noise pollution poses significant challenges to public health and environmental sustainability, particularly in rapidly developing tourist destinations. Noise associated annoyance level five major intersections of Cox's Bazar City, Bangladesh, was assessed this study during the peak season. measurements were conducted using various indices (L10, Leq, TNI) across morning, midday, afternoon time slots. TNI scores compared with Mean Dissatisfaction Score (MDS) standards assess traffic-induced levels. Additionally, a survey 675 respondents their perceptions pollution. Statistical analyses included linear regression for indices, multinomial logistic TNI-related dissatisfaction, ordinal respondents' perceived annoyances. Results revealed issues, Leq consistently exceeding national guidelines all periods, on weekends timeslots. values frequently surpassed standard dissatisfaction regulations, 19 out 105 slots exhibiting extreme Link Road Kolatoli Circle showed higher levels dissatisfaction. Over 95% increased seasons, 87.11% describing it as "extremely" or "very" noisy. Longer exposure duration awareness risks significantly reported Respondents impacts, including (84.44%), headaches (62.37%), cognitive impairment (44.44%). This comprehensive provides valuable insights policymakers, city planners, environmentalists develop sustainable urban strategies that balance acoustic environment well-being residents tourists alike.
