With the continuous increase in urbanization rate, amount of sewage received by pipe network has also been increasing annually. The phenomenon high water level operation networks emerged many cities, which seriously affects drainage efficiency. Therefore, constructing an effective evaluation method to assess hydraulic performance operating at levels, as well identifying high-risk pipelines, formulating cost-effective rehabilitation schemes, and evaluating effects become necessary solve this problem. In study, a based on flow velocity, fullness, manhole fullness was established. This comprehensively considers instantaneous values cumulative durations each indicator pipeline and, thus, can accurately evaluate network. applied City H, it found that there existed problems such low unreasonable diameter, overloading, risk overflow. After renovation specific sections according results, comprehensive significantly improved, with grade rising from “poor” “medium +”. research shows current renovated network, providing scientific guidance for optimization.

The ongoing changes in climate and the rapid pace of urbanization are contributing to an alarming increase prevalence urban flooding, which is having a profound impact on quality life for residents smooth functioning areas. 1D–2D coupled model effective tool simulating process thereby providing scientific basis planning, flood prevention, mitigation strategies. values numerous parameters within not only influence computational efficiency but also precision simulation outcomes.
