China’s rapid urbanization has spurred economic growth and posed environmental challenges. We investigate the relationship between multidimensional pollution by a fixed effect model based on panel data of 70 cities in three major urban agglomerations Yangtze River Economic Belt during 2005–2020. Overall, aggravates then decreases agglomerations, which is closely related to control policies. Environmental shows obvious spatial heterogeneities five levels have been gradually changed from high-value low-value levels. In Belt, dominated “High–High” “Low–Low” clusters. Among them, clusters move eastwards, while concentrate southeastwards. Multidimensional helps alleviate regional pollution. Economic, social, land reduces certain extent. Population non-significant Social improved Chengdu–Chongqing agglomeration (CC) Delta (YRD), increased population middle reaches (MYD) comprehensive CC.

Increasing air pollution, rising carbon emissions, and urban shrinkage pose significant challenges for sustainable development in China. Exploring the relationship between synergy effect of pollution reduction mitigation (SPRCR) can contribute to systematically addressing green development. However, few studies have analyzed all three factors within a unified analytical framework. Therefore, our study takes 288 cities at prefecture level above China as research objects endeavors apply Coupling Coordination Degree (CCD), Multi-scale Geographically Weighted Regression (MGWR), Geodetector (v2.1.0) analyze influence on SPRCR. From analysis, it was demonstrated that (1) general, inhibit an improvement synergistic degree SPRCR, but inhibition is weak. (2) The this shows spatial heterogeneity, with negative impact SPRCR mainly concentrated northeast region. (3) interaction construction land expansion more than other factors, enhancement most obvious. Given regional differences development, provides valuable insights promoting

As an important industry in ecologically fragile areas, the synergy of agricultural pollution control and carbon reduction is vital for balanced development industries regional synergy. This paper aims to explore synergistic result areas so as clarify weak links solve areas. Leveraging 2006–2021 municipal data this calculates coupling coordination degree (CCD) non-point source emission areas; decoupling relationship between emissions, pollutants, gross output based on Tapio index; quantitatively depicts From 2006 2021, emissions depicted a fluctuating increasing trend. Agricultural “inverted U-shaped” growth The trends pollutants depict that although are homologous, there heterogeneity trend change emissions. results show upward increased from 0.32 0.89, indicating level coordinated significantly. Taking into account effect, state economic has changed negative strong decoupling, mainly expansion, decoupling; addition, capacity needs be further optimized. Based research results, some room improvement regions should strengthen cooperation.
