Abstract Several efforts have been extensively accomplished for the amelioration of cancer treatments using different types new drugs and less invasives therapies in comparison with traditional therapeutic modalities, which are widely associated numerous drawbacks, such as drug resistance, non-selectivity high costs, restraining their clinical response. The application natural compounds prevention treatment cells has attracted significant attention from pharmaceuticals scientific communities over past decades. Although use nanotechnology therapy is still preliminary stages, nanotherapeutics demonstrated to decrease various limitations related compounds, physical/chemical instability, poor aqueous solubility, low bioavailability. Despite emerged a promise improve bioavailability there limited trials performed challenges required pre-clinical trials, production at an industrial level, assurance long-term stability, physiological barriers safety regulatory issues. This review highlights most recent advances nanocarriers secreted plants, bacteria, fungi, marine organisms, well role on cell signaling pathways anticancer treatments. Chemoresistance in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) has been found to be influenced by exosomal transport of circRNAs. However, the role circZFR HCC chemoresistance still remains unclear. In present study, was highly expressed cisplatin (DDP)-resistant cell lines and could regulate DDP resistance cells. Also, cancer-associated fibroblast (CAFs) exosome CAFs. addition, supplementation CAFs culture medium promote vivo tumor xenograft experiments showed that knockdown inhibited growth weakened resistance, while CAFs-derived exosomes incubation increased expression circZFR, STAT3/NF-κB pathway, promoted growth, enhanced resistance. general, deliver cells, inhibit development chemoresistance. The results provided a new sight for prevention treatment HCC.

Gut microbiota is associated with the growth of various tumors, including malignant gliomas, through brain-gut axis. Moreover, gut in patients tumors may considerably differ from those benign tumors. However, associations and brain remain unclear. Hence, order to explore these underlying relationships, meningioma (n = 32), glioma 27), healthy individuals 41) were selected participate this study. The results showed that diversity microbial ecosystem tumor less than controls, while no significant differences observed between groups. composition also differed significantly participants. In group, pathogenic bacteria like Enterobacteriaceae increased, whereas certain carcinogenic overrepresented Fusobacterium Akkermansia. Furthermore, lacked SCFA-producing probiotics. Thus, a biomarker panel Fusobacterium, Akkermansia, Escherichia/Shigella, Lachnospira, Agathobacter, Bifidobacterium was established. Diagnostic models confirmed could distinguish patients. Additionally, can affect differentiation proliferation via several metabolic pathways based on annotations Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG). This first study designed investigate whether differs patients, our work concluded intestinal flora valuable tool for diagnosis treatment

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the most common malignant tumor occurred in digestive system. However, prognosis of CRC patients poor. Therefore, it urgent to illuminate mechanism suppressing and explore novel targets or therapies for treatment. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class non-coding RNAs with length 20-23 nucleotides encoded by endogenous genes, which associated development variety cancers, including CRC. Studies have shown that miR-19a identified as oncogenic miRNA promotes proliferation, migration invasion cells. relationship between ferroptosis remains unknown. Here, we reported iron-responsive element-binding protein 2 (IREB2), an inducer ferroptosis, was negatively regulated miR-19a. IREB2 direct target In addition, suppressed through inhibiting IREB2. Thus, proposed mediated cells, could give rise new strategy therapy

The microbiome may impact cancer development, progression and treatment responsiveness, but its fungal components remain insufficiently studied in this context. In review, we highlight accumulating evidence suggesting a possible involvement of commensal pathogenic fungi modulation cancer-related processes. We discuss the mechanisms by which can influence tumour biology, locally activity exerted within microenvironment, or remotely through secretion bioactive metabolites, host immunity communications with neighbouring bacterial commensals. examine prospects utilising fungi-related molecular signatures diagnosis, patient stratification assessment while highlighting challenges limitations faced performing such research. all, demonstrate that likely constitute important members mucosal tumour-residing microbiomes. Exploration inter-kingdom interactions decoding their causal impacts on biology enable harnessing into diagnosis treatment.

Chemotherapy resistance is identified as an obstacle for breast cancer (BC) therapy, and, besides, increasing evidence indicates that long-noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) participate in the regulation of BC adriamycin (ADR) resistance. Here, our work shows lncRNA DLGAP1 antisense RNA 1 (DLGAP1-AS1) up-regulated ADR-resistant cells (MCF-7/ADR). Clinically, higher DLGAP1-AS1 expression was closely correlated to poorer clinical prognosis. Results showed promoted ADR IC

Abstract Bacillus subtilis , a probiotic, has been applied in the medical, food, and feed industries among others. However, mechanisms of its benefits to hosts are not yet fully understood. Here characterization bioactivities an extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) from were investigated reveal partial provide theoretical basics for further development utilization . In this study, novel strain xztubd1 (GenBank: MG458322.1) was isolated housefly’s body, identified according phenotypical genotypical analyses, found produce large amounts EPS. Through ultraviolet spectroscopy Fourier transform infrared (FTIR spectroscopy), EPS contain variety chemical functional groups, such as O–H C=C, C=O, CH 3 C–O–H C–O–C bonds, alpha-type pyranose. Furthermore, vitro antioxidant activity on DPPH radicals at concentration 90 μg/ml 62%; superoxide radical μg/ml, value 75%; hydroxyl 54%. also enhanced significantly phagocytosis, lysozyme macrophages, IL-2 content mice inhibited dramatically growth HeLa cells. These results showed that with reductive groups have strong capacity scavenge reactive oxygen species (ROS), reinforce immune system inhibit cancer cell, which helps theirs defence against many diseases, including inflammation cancer. The potential be anticancer anti-inflammatory drug candidate pharmaceutical industries, scientific evidence probiotic-derived medicines.
