At present, colorectal cancer (CRC) is the second deadliest type of cancer, partly because a high percentage cases are diagnosed at advanced stages when tumors have already metastasized. Superficial cancers typically refer to confined the surface layers of tissue. Low-targeting therapies or side effects prompt exploration novel therapeutic approaches. Gold nanoparticles (AuNPs), due their unique optical properties, serve as effective photosensitizers, enabling tumor ablation through photothermal therapy (PTT). PTT induced by AuNPs can be achieved light sources externally applied skin. Near-infrared radiation is main candidate its deep tissue penetration capability. This review explores recent advancements in AuNP-based for superficial cancers, specifically breast, head and neck, thyroid, bladder prostate cancers. Additionally, challenges future directions utilizing cancer treatment are discussed, emphasizing importance balancing efficacy with safety clinical applications.

Recent studies have highlighted the development prospects of magnetic hyperthermia in cancer therapy. A few on application Fe3 O4 nanospheres for gynecological malignancies achieved certain efficacy, but there was no visible progress currently. In this work, modified with polyetherimide (PEI) and folic acid (FA) were synthesized using a hydrothermal method possible utility biocompatible active tumor-targeting induction hyperthermia. The PEI- FA-coated showed high crystallinity, well-dispersed spherical structures ideal Ms value.
