Abstract Background It has previously been proven that circadian rhythm disruption is associated with the incidence and deterioration of several tumors, which potentially leads to increased tumor susceptibility a worse prognosis for tumor-bearing patients. However, their potential role in osteosarcoma yet be sufficiently investigated. Methods Transcriptomic clinical data 84 samples 70 normal bone tissue were obtained from TARGET GTEx databases, rhythm-related genes Genecards, lncRNAs (CRLs) by Pearson correlation analysis, differential expression protein–protein interaction (PPI) analysis. COX regression LASSO performed on CRLs order construct prognostic prediction signature (CRPS). CRPS reliability was verified Kaplan–Meier (KM), principal component analysis (PCA), nomogram, receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. effects immune microenvironment explored enrichment infiltration effect critical gene RP11-414H17.5 experimentally verified. Result consisting three constructed its area under curve (AUC) values predicted reached 0.892 training group 0.843 test group, p value < 0.05 KM stable performance across different subgroups. PCA found could significantly distinguish between risk subgroups, exhibited excellent microenvironment. The experiment can promote metastasis inhibit apoptosis cells. Conclusion study revealed plays crucial progression identified impact key osteosarcoma, provides novel insights into diagnosis therapy.

Background Colorectal adenomas, which are precancerous lesions that can develop into colorectal cancer, present a significant challenge due to the lack of comprehensive early screening and clear identification risk factors. Objectives We conduct double-blind, prospective cross-sectional analysis examine relationship between lifestyle, mental health, adenomas. Methods Between June 2023 July 2024, we surveyed 246 participants at Hubei Provincial Hospital Traditional Chinese Medicine in Wuhan using self-administered online questionnaire. Results The majority were over age 50 (49.6%), married or living with partner (87.08%), employed as office workers technicians (44.3%). Among total population, 435 individuals (53.5%) diagnosed A positive association was observed being manager (OR = 2.340; 95% CI 1.043–5.248) presence well having BMI 28 6.000; 1.501–23.991). After adjusting for professional role BMI, no associations found scores on HADS-D (AOR 1.031; 0.967–1.099) PSS-10 0.971; 0.923–1.022) scales However, higher AUDIT 1.001–1.144), CDS-12 1.028; 1.003–1.054), PSQI 1.079; 1.003–1.161), HADS-A 1.156; 1.059–1.262) significantly associated an increased likelihood Conclusion study highlights significance addressing alcohol consumption, smoking, sleep quality, anxiety reduce Targeted health interventions may play crucial alleviating this burden enhancing overall population health.

Obesity, a prevalent and multifactorial disease, is linked to range of metabolic abnormalities, including insulin resistance, dyslipidemia, chronic inflammation. These imbalances not only contribute cardiometabolic diseases but also play significant role in cancer pathogenesis. The rising prevalence obesity underscores the need investigate dietary strategies for effective weight management individuals with overweight or cancer. This European Society Study Obesity (EASO) position statement aimed summarize current evidence on provide insights major nutritional interventions, Mediterranean diet (MedDiet), ketogenic (KD), intermittent fasting (IF), that should be adopted manage MedDiet, characterized by high consumption plant-based foods moderate intake olive oil, fish, nuts, has been associated reduced risk. Background. Circadian rhythm disruption involves tumorigenesis and tumor progression. However, the influences of circadian on microenvironment (TME) prognosis hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) are unknown. Methods. Bulk RNA-seq single-cell from TCGA, ICGC, GEO were used to comprehensively identify prognostic control cells associated genes (CRRGs) using R Python packages. Besides, rhythm-related signature was identified validated. The biological function, immune infiltration, therapeutic response with (CR) risk detected. Results. A total 252 differentially expressed CRRGs in HCC identified, a high CR score revealed poor survival. We annotated 11 major cell types TME; (B cells, myeloid, CD4+ CD8+ NK Tregs) score, hepatocyte, bio-potent fibroblasts, endothelial low identified. Moreover, five (RPL29, PFKFB3, RPS7, SLC6A6, RPLP2) selected validated as HCC. calculated based signature, patients then divided into high-risk low-risk groups according median value score. High is linked several metabolism-related pathways canonical cancer-related negatively immunotherapeutic responses positively some chemotherapeutic drugs. Conclusion. Our finding provides novel represents viable “time-dependent” option for treatment.
