The development of low-cost photostable heterostructures with robust interfacial contact is critical for competent photoactivity and practical applications. solid-state approach was successfully employed fabrication novel stacked oval-shaped CoMn-LDH/C-MgO composites Mn-O-Mg bridges efficient charge separation induced by S-scheme transfer degradation amoxicillin (AMX). persulfate (PS) activation mechanism confirmed Raman analysis using bond length relationship to peak shifts. PS rate 1.8 times CoMn-LDH/PS the heterojunction a 99.97 ± 0.16 % removal efficiency after 60 min irradiation at pH 5.2. photocatalytic ozonation increased AMX mineralization up 8 compared ozonation. Antimicrobial studies bacterial growth inhibition by-products had reduced AMX. This work demonstrated an as visible light heterogeneous photocatalyst pharmaceuticals.
