The proposed study is devoted to highlighting the importance of mixed oxides preparation through layered double hydroxide route for undesirable gas pollutants abatement. Different series Cu/Al/Ce with similar or different stoichiometrics were prepared and compared toluene and/or CO oxidation. Catalyst synthesis methods influence material properties activity oxidation reactions. high reactions derived from LDH explained by Cu/Ce synergy. presence in CO/toluene mixture does not affect total oxidation, conversion at low temperatures. most effective catalytic (Cu6Al1.2Ce0.8) presents a long lifetime stability resistance poisoning mixtures.
