Solvent regeneration is crucial after liquid–liquid extraction (LLX). This study investigates the vapor–liquid equilibria (VLE) and solid–liquid (SLE) for regenerating guaiacol 2,2,5,5-tetramethyl oxolane (TMO) following LLX. The deep eutectic solvent (DES) composed of lactic acid choline chloride was regenerated by LLX with these biobased solvents biomass delignification. Both crystallization evaporation methods have been considered regeneration. experimental SLE in guaiacol-lactic system reveals a solid solution formation, significant nonideality liquidus solidus lines at weight fractions around 0.80 to 1. A two-step process conceptualized, concentrating state, obtaining noticeable reductions HMF furfural concentrations phase, yields 57.0% first stage 39.8% second stage. Additionally, vapor pressures (400.59–439.67 K) TMO (318.43–372.16 measured facilitate simulations via or distillation. Antoine parameters were fitted both pressure data, an average deviation 0.05 K 0.07 TMO.
