This study presents a novel approach to the dehydration of n-propanol using three hybrid methods—D + HPV, D HPV D, and with heat integration—each combining distillation (D) hydrophilic pervaporation (HPV) without use additional solvent agents, as in most common separation method, extractive distillation. The optimization was performed ChemCAD process simulator, targeting 99.9 wt% purity for water. is first research provide comprehensive cost estimation carbon footprint analysis such configurations. Results show HI method provides best balance energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, economic feasibility. It reduced duties by 18.5% compared achieved similar CO2 emissions better lowered total annual 37.9% HPV. findings establish promising technology sustainable cost-effective dehydration.
