Abstract MXenes, a class of two‐dimensional (2D) transition metal carbides, and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) deliver unique structural electrochemical properties, making them promising candidates for energy storage conversion applications. MXenes exhibit excellent conductivity tunable surface chemistries, whereas the COFs provide high porosity versatility. Recent advances in integrating MXene‐COF composites have revealed their potential to enhance charge transfer storage/conversion properties. The work highlights key developments integration, offering insights into applications batteries (Li‐ion, K‐ion, Na‐ion, Li‐S), supercapacitors, electrocatalysis (HER, OER, RR, NRR, ORRCO2), while also addressing current challenges future directions not only but other electronic devices. image

Schiff bases are compounds that widely distributed in nature and have practical value for industry biomedicine. Another important use of is identifying metal ions different molecules, including proteins. Their proneness to hydrolysis limits the utilization mainly non-aqueous solutions. However, by introducing -OH -SH substituents aromatic amine-bearing rings, it possible increase resilience base destruction water. The present paper discusses how hydroxyl or thiol group influences spectral properties kinetics formation derived from pyridoxal 5'-phosphate aniline, 2-hydroxyaniline, 2-mercaptoaniline using quantum chemical data. variation between imines can be explained taking into account geometry frontier molecular orbital alteration induced substituents. changes rate analyzed computed values local reactivity indices.
