Green structures, buildings incorporating living plants, offer numerous benefits, including carbon sequestration and improved indoor air quality. (1) However, the effective design analysis of these structures are hindered by a lack standardised methodologies. This work proposes novel four-zone method for instantaneous gas exchange testing in green structures. To enhance the efficiency of flue gas purification from straw combustion, a combined approach using ammonia method and electrostatic charged spray was investigated. This study investigated charging characteristics atomized droplets their impact on purification. The results show that charge-to-mass ratio increases then decreases as voltages increase. At constant voltage, with higher concentrations shows gradual increase pressures. For gases three common combustion sources, average dust removal rate at 8 kV 2.5 to 3 times than 0 kV. Under condition 10% solution, NO approximately 4.7 times, NO2 2.8 compared water alone.
