The esterification of terephthalic acid (PTA) with methanol to dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) was investigated using commercially available zeolite catalysts as the eco-friendly solid acids. Six typical zeolites (ZSM-5-25, ZSM-5-50, ZSM-5-100, ZSM-35, MOR, and β) were systematically evaluated. Among them, β showed excellent catalytic performance, achieving nearly 100% PTA conversion 76.1% DMT selectivity under conditions 200 °C, 0.5 MPa N2 pressure, m(PTA):V(methanol) 1:40 (g/mL), m(PTA):m(catalyst) 10:1 over 4 h. characterization results show that efficiency correlated site strength, specific surface area, mesoporous structure zeolite. After optimization, achieved 94.1% 1 m(PTA)/V(methanol) 1:30 m(PTA)/m(catalyst) 8:1 8 Moreover, exhibited superior stability, maintaining 92% its initial activity after five cycles, highlighting potential for sustainable production.

Se sintetizaron zeolitas tipo sodalita a partir de silicio y aluminio posconsumo, las cuales se recubrieron con el hidróxido doble laminar (HDL) una relación molar Mg2+/Al3+=2, los formaron por método coprecipitación baja saturación. Las propiedades estructurales, morfológicas texturales la zeolita, HDL material recubierto determinaron mediante Difracción rayos X muestras Policristalinas (XRD), Microscopía Electrónica Barrido (SEM), espectroscopía resonancia magnética nuclear 27Al (RMN) medidas texturales. Los sólidos obtenidos utilizaron para eliminación Cu2+, Cl-, NO3- SO42- desde soluciones acuosas Cu(NO3)2, CuCl2 CuSO4, estudiando capacidad remoción espectrometría fluorescencia (XFR) Cl- SO42-, UV-Vis NO3-. resultados mostraron que zeolita recubierta fue capaz hacer captación simultánea cationes aniones como Cu2+ en 9,26 mmol*g-1, 9,34 8,82 mmol*g-1 14,41 mmol*g-1. Estos muestran recubiertas pueden usar retener dañinos medio ambiente, representan oportunidad diseñar catalizadores
