The success of developing and implementing Smart Cities (SC) projects depends on a varied set factors, where the availability qualified technical workforce is critical one. combination ICT requirements, like effectiveness quality solutions merging IoT, cloud computing, sensors, communications with work from many disciplines (e.g., civil engineering, architecture, etc.), mixed aspects environmental business sustainability, makes management these really challenging. Reports forecast scarcity candidates, given this complexity growth activity in SC projects. Egypt, as a nation, is committed to achieving ecological sustainability, which helps protect the environment for future generations, thereby ensuring balance between energy production, environmental health, and economic development. With regard this vision, research utilized autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) estimator probe how hydroelectricity, digitalization, natural gas affect degradation within Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) in Egypt. This study further used two distinct proxies, namely, CO2 emissions footprint. The result of ARDL indicates that there an inverted U-shaped association growth while urbanization does not sustainability. Moreover, negatively impact sustainability Furthermore, frequency domain causality approach showed two-way pathway its regressors. Based on outcome, policymakers should prioritize decoupling from by investing green infrastructure, sustainable industries, circular economy models.
