This research aims to explore the impact of various components Indoor air pollution (IAP) on Self-Reported Health (SRH) older adults in India. Using a sample 27,090 from Longitudinal Aging Study India (LASI) Wave-1, multiple binary logistic regression model was employed identify specific risk factors associated with poor SRH among adults. Adjusting for demographic, socioeconomic, and IAP-related components, it revealed that IAP significantly contributes SRH. The adjusted indicated individuals using solid cooking fuels face higher compared those liquid fuels. Additionally, not electric chimneys near windows are an elevated SRH, highlighting importance adequate ventilation. factors, including lung disease, diabetes, cough, depression, further contribute exposed IAP. Overall, study offers crucial insights policymakers, healthcare professionals, environmentalists improve well-being vulnerable population

The shipping industry has reached a higher level of maturity in terms its knowledge and awareness decarbonization challenges. Carbon-free or carbon-neutralized green fuel, such as hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, are being widely discussed. However, little attention paid to the fuel pathway from renewable energy shipping. This paper, therefore, provides review production methods for power (green methanol) analyzes potential application shows that methanol (1) hydrogen seawater electrolysis using power; (2) ammonia + Haber–Bosch process; (3) CO2 power. While future is bright, short term, costs expected be than conventional fuel. Our recommendations therefore follows: improve technology reduce cost; develop electrochemical increase efficiency production; explore new technology. Strengthening research development expanding capacity ensure an adequate supply low- zero-emission marine important factors achieve carbon reduction

The decarbonization of hard-to-abate industries is crucial for keeping global warming to below 2°C. Green or renewable hydrogen, synthesized through water electrolysis, has emerged as a sustainable alternative fossil fuels in energy-intensive sectors such aluminum, cement, chemicals, steel, and transportation. However, the scalability green hydrogen production faces challenges including infrastructure gaps, energy losses, excessive power consumption, high costs throughout value chain. Therefore, this study analyzes within chain, focusing on development nascent technologies. Presenting comprehensive synthesis contemporary knowledge, assesses potential impacts sectors, emphasizing expansion clean infrastructure. Through an exploration emerging technologies, investigates aspects economic feasibility, sustainability assessments, achievement carbon neutrality. Additionally, considerations extend large-scale electricity storage realization net-zero goals. findings suggest that technologies have significantly increase production, offering affordable solutions decarbonization. affirms global-scale could satisfy up 24% needs by 2050, resulting abatement 60 gigatons greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions - equivalent 6% total cumulative CO 2 emission reductions. To comprehensively evaluate impact economy ecosystem decarbonization, article feasibility three business models emphasize choices delivery. Finally, proposes directions future research valleys, aiming foster interconnected ecosystems.
