Heat pumps will play an important role in improving the performance of industrial processes aiming to decarbonize their heating requirements. Yet, defining best operating conditions those devices may be a challenging task, as they are embedded larger energy conversion systems and direct competition with fired electric heaters other waste heat recovery systems.
