Specifically, the explored role of these energy sources, along with technological progress urbanization, shaping ecological footprint US between 2006 2021. To investigate association factors footprint, we employed Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) estimation. Additional tests, such Fully Modified Ordinary Least Squares (FMOLS) Cointegration Regression (CCR), were to confirm robustness ARDL approach. Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) was used examine causality direction variables. results showed that reduce although has a more modest effect. Technological advancements urbanization also significantly reduced carbon emissions. Based on outcomes, it be recommended revenues should maximized upgrade develop renewable technologies make environmentally friendly, enabling bridge for transition nonrenewable sources. Exploiting technology maximize efficiency, including use gas, benefits waste, thereby mitigating impact.

The study investigates the relationship between technological innovation, clean energy, trade openness, and natural resource rents on environmental sustainability within BRICS + T nations. Motivated by urgent need to address escalating CO2 emissions—reaching 36.4 billion metric tons in 2022—the research aims understand how these factors influence emissions, ecological footprint, load capacity factor, its inverse, contributing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). uses panel data from countries spanning period 1990 2022. Employing advanced econometric techniques such as Dynamic Seemingly Unrelated Regression (DSUR), Cross-Sectionally Augmented Panel Unit Root (CUP-FM, CUP-BC), nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) models, tests Environmental Kuznets Curve (EKC) hypothesis evaluates asymmetric effects of variables. Key findings indicate that innovation consistently reduces emissions footprints, reinforcing role promoting through cleaner technologies more efficient industrial processes. Clean energy adoption has also been shown be a significant driver reducing degradation, with consistent negative while improving factor. However, openness exhibits dual effect. While it enhances use efficiency, simultaneously increases likely due heightened activity. Natural display mixed results: some cases, they exacerbate others, contribute funding eco-friendly initiatives. recommends nations prioritize investments green technologies, strengthen regulations, enhance international collaboration accelerate transition renewable energy. Policymakers should balance benefits stricter standards mitigate adverse sustainability. These integrated strategies are essential for achieving targets outlined SDGs.

Research background: The issue of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions, recognized as one the major drivers environmental degradation, has attracted considerable attention from academic researchers, policymakers, and professionals in relevant fields. Based on existing research, countries’ pollution levels are shaped by a combination factors, including their participation global value chains (GVCs) degree technological advancement. Still, relatively little is known about mutual interdependence these factors determining CO2 which creates research gap that we address this paper. Purpose article: aim study to broaden understanding impact GVC involvement emissions emerging developing countries. We examine conditional country’s distance world’s frontier. rationale advancement may underpin participation. claim adoption technology less developed countries via GVCs conditioned absorptive capacity, determined initial level development. Methods: To investigate issue, employ Arellano-Bond generalized method moments (GMM) estimator four patent-based indicators. utilized data cover 90 Findings & added: Our demonstrates key factor conditions acquisition benefits find with shorter distances frontier enjoy decline increases. At same time, further away leader not be able experience reduction increased integration due inadequate hampers related diffusion through GVCs.

ABSTRACT As a strategy, countries seek ways to improve national income and, at the same time, keep carbon emissions minimal. Such scenario is captured by respective economies' productivity (CP) scores. Remarkably, it expected that technological advancements could be harnessed achieve CP. Hence, many have publicly invested in green technologies R&D, including energy efficiency, renewables, nuclear, hydrogen, and storage. However, existing studies did not verify specific contributions of these advances CP, leaving notable void literature. current research verified various technology R&D Based on panel data from 2003 2022, this study implemented novel instrumental variable quantile regression technique for updated insights. The uncovers heterogeneous each innovation variant distributions effects underscore country's changing economic structures varied implementation paths. policy consistency key driving CP ensuring environmental compatibility. renewable, efficiency contributed most significantly across distributions. hydrogen storage least Therefore, allocating more funds all R&Ds boost energy‐enhancing overall sustainability expedient. proactive integrative policies consistent with SDGs 7 13 would reduce while escalating income. Meanwhile, isolated inconsistent funding should discouraged progress. A robustness evaluation based SIVQR produced corroborative evidence.

ABSTRACT This research aims to identify the intricate connections arising from finance and governance water, food, energy, utilizing data 2000 2021 for eight South Asian countries. To address cross‐sectional dependence panel heterogeneity, this study applied an augmented mean group (AMG) approach discover long‐term across chosen indicators. The estimators' outcome shows interconnectedness energy (WFE) resources, showing that water promotes food energy. In contrast, fosters production reduces availability. Further, positively influences (0.434%), (0.044%), consumption (0.142%). Likewise, significantly responds WFE consumption. Our results highlighted unilaterally dynamics while bidirectional causal links emerge between finance, obtained outcomes are re‐validated with feasible generalized least square (FGLS) Driscoll Kraay (DK) estimators. Ultimately, our offers valuable insights shaping economic, environmental, security policies in region beyond.

In study, we used continuously updated fully modified (CUP‐FM), biased correction (CUP‐BC), quantile regression approach to obtain robust model estimations cross‐country dependencies heterogeneity. The results show that RNE, significantly reduce ) in chosen advancing advancement. Technological advancement reduces leading greater efficiency encouraging carbon‐peaking carbon‐neutrality objectives. contrast, economic growth (GDP) favorably influences emissions, suggesting increased activity may initially lead higher but can be mitigated policy advancements. As result, better fiscal incentives, utilization effective use help economies.
