A sustainable and green method for the synthesis of copper oxide nanoparticlesare developed using aqueous leaf extract Syzygium cumini. The optical, structural morphological properties nanoparticles were analyzed UV-vis, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy, diffraction (XRD), dynamic light scattering (DLS) transmission electron microscopy (TEM). TEM analysis reveals formation with different morphologies. application as photo-catalyst degradation organic dyes has been investigated under visible irradiation in solutions. effects solution pH, H2O2 concentration, initial dye catalyst dosage intensity havebeen systematically investigated. act very efficient heterogeneous methylene blue dye. shift λmax values evolution oxygen gas product revealed that could be effectively demineralised by without generation any hazardous wastes. In addition to that, catalytic activity was estimated reduction 4-nitrophenol.
