Abstract This study explored subjective responses towards various environmental quality parameters. In order to investigate the combined effects of sound, light, and heat on overall comfort (evaluated by vote, OCV) pedestrians, two residential areas in Yubei District, Chongqing (a Cfa city China) were selected for field measurements combining questionnaires. Three main conclusions drawn. Firstly, average outdoor neutral temperature (NT), LAeq, LUX 26.6 °C (indicated physiologically equivalent temperature, PET), 56.5 dBA, 21.4103 lx, respectively. Secondly, since both physiology psychology, thermal perceptions varied acoustic light environments. could be explained different NTs sound pressure or levels. Thirdly, factors had significant comfort. Significant positive correlation between stress (PET) OCV was found (sig<0.000); while intensity not always significant. Hence, played a role people’s Findings this directive future environment design creating more comfortable spaces.

Introduction Sleep quality has a significant impact on the health-related of life, particularly among college students. This study proposes framework for identifying factors that influence students’ sleep quality, including stress, self-control, bedtime habits, and neighborhood environment. Methods The employed cross-sectional analytical approach convenience sample 255 medical students from private university in China during 2021/2022 academic year, which 80.39% (205) were women. Two complementary methodologies, partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), fuzzy sets qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA), utilized study. Results results PLS-SEM suggest Stress Self-control act as mediating variables model, with Bedtime habits Neighborhood environment influencing through these variables. Additionally, fsQCA reveals can combine Self-control, respectively, to quality. Discussion These findings provide insight into how multiple factors, such Stress, environment, be used develop intervention programs aimed at improving it. Moreover, use both methodologies enables expansion new methodological approaches applied different contexts.

Research suggests that the neighborhood in which people live can be a risk or protective factor for various health outcomes, including cognitive decline to Alzheimer's disease. Similar impact of on sleep difficulties have been linked function older adults. However, few studies examined how physical disorders moderate effects subjective (SCD).
