Changing customer demand, globalization, pandemics, and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war have introduced a lot of complexities, uncertainties, risks, challenges in various global businesses, especially small medium enterprises (SMEs) emerging markets. This sector plays significant role fostering economic growth, generating employment, reducing poverty. In such situation, proper identification supply chain risk (SCR) factors is pivotal for this to achieve resilient sustainable SC, specifically since can withstand impacts uncertain situations. However, no studies yet explored these from an economy perspective. study fills research gap by identifying SCR analyzing their interactions using integrated approach, including Pareto analysis, fuzzy theory, total interpretive structural modeling (TISM), Matriced' Impacts Cruoses Multiplication Applique un Classement (MICMAC) analysis. The findings TISM imply that "lack enthusiasm top management regarding practices" most factor. Besides that, lack skilled educated workers, knowledge about modern technologies, labor strikes, political instabilities are also some crucial risks may hinder development smooth operation SMEs. Fuzzy MICMAC analysis confirms all identified interrelated. insights guide managers successfully identify achieving long-term sustainability operational resilience enhance policymakers' ability formulate proactive efficient mitigation strategies.

Supplier selection is a difficult task imposing significant challenges for supply chain managers in today's competitive environment. Sustainability adds another layer of complexity to this already problem, given the global concerns on social, economic, and environmental impacts, especially emerging economies. Many multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods have been proposed sustainable supplier selection. However, insufficient emphasis literature supporting decisions healthcare testing facilities This study proposes process from sustainability perspective utilizing an integrated MCDM framework combining stepwise weight assessment ratio analysis (SWARA) weighted aggregated sum product (WASPAS). SWARA used rank criteria, WASPAS utilized select most suitable supplier. An Additive Ratio Assessment (ARAS) Evaluation based Distance Average Solution (EDAS) are validate results. A sensitivity conducted test different scenarios interest with method. Cost stability, continuous improvement quality control, past performance reputation top-weighted criteria study. The findings research provide actionable insights assist responding more efficiently. contributions also inform policymakers make responsible establish regulations improve industry

Global food insecurity has become a significant concern, especially for emerging economies. The crisis been exacerbated recently due to the intense supply chain disruption resulting from COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing Russia–Ukraine war. Agriculture 4.0, which combines conventional agriculture with various modern cutting-edge technologies, might help in this regard improve security. In such context, it is essential accurately identify pertinent drivers of 4.0 implementation ensure sustainability security This study, therefore, aims classify, assess, analyze hierarchical relationships among context an economy like Bangladesh, combining Pareto analysis, fuzzy theory, total interpretative structural modeling (TISM), Matriced' Impacts Cruoses Multiplication Applique un Classement (MICMAC) analysis. Based on literature review expert feedback, eighteen factors were identified initially. After employing top thirteen have further analyzed using TISM MICMAC examine their interrelationships. study findings indicate that "Automation & Robotics lessen usage manual labor", "Augmented reality (AR) training new farmers guiding tool evaluation," "Providing adequate financial incentives impoverished building storage facilities" are three most influential implement 4.0. expected contribute significantly future innovation development sector, eliminate hunger regional It potential assist practitioners industry leaders economies strategic decision-making achieving agricultural sector thus achieve relevant SDGs.

Green supply chain management (GSCM) is an emerging concept of modern (SCM) that integrates eco-friendly and ethical environmental concerns with the traditional by reducing negative impacts unsustainable manufacturing practices. Developed countries have already adopted different sustainable SCM However, despite being one significant sources export earnings in economies like Bangladesh, apparel industry still lagging case GSCM implementation. This study, thereby, utilized integrated multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approach, including gray theory trial evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) method to identify, prioritize, examine relations among critical success factors (CSFs) implement practices Bangladeshi industry. The study initially identified CSFs from literature review. After expert validation, sixteen were finally analyzed gray-DEMATEL method. findings revealed 'demand buyers', 'economic tax benefits', 'government rules regulations' are three most prominent cause-effect later explored, which indicated 'Economic benefits' be influencing 'Supplier training cooperation' influenced CSF. insights can potentially guide managers successfully implementing toward achieving long-term sustainability development goals (SDGs).

Sustainable food supplier selection (SFSS) can be handled as an uncertain decision-making issue. The Pythagorean fuzzy set (PFS), a type of non-standard set, offers expanded description space for articulating and data. Accordingly, this paper proposes synthetic decision method-based framework solving the SFSS problem within subjective context. Then, weighted distance measures PFS are introduced to derive importance degrees experts, which provide more objective result. information fusion method with PFS-weighted power average (WPA) operator is form group matrix competent accommodate deviation effect. Next, extended PF-measurement alternatives ranking according compromise solution (MARCOS) integrating PF-criteria through inter-criteria correlation (CRITIC) presented calculate priority each supplier, capture inter-correlations between criteria. Finally, numerical example implemented show application proposed approach. Over the last few decades, industries in emerging economies have been encouraged to embrace sustainable lean manufacturing (SLM) practices lower operational expenses, eliminate wastes, conserve resources, improve customer satisfaction, and focus on economic, environmental, social aspects of sustainability maximize productivity. So far, no study has explored critical success factors (CSFs) facilitating furniture industry's SLM. This investigated CSFs for implementing SLM industry an economy like Bangladesh. First, with help a literature review consultation experts, total sixteen most significant was identified. Then, identified were clustered into three criteria groups or clusters — organizational governmental cluster, supply chain, inventory, resource management performance technological based suggestions from experts. Finally, we employed Bayesian Best–Worst method (BWM) evaluate importance these CSFs. shows that utilization reduces lead time non-value-adding activities, adequate support top management, adoption disruptive technologies are four crucial implement effectively industry. These findings can assist professionals regulators making efficient action plans capture this competitive but booming market while ensuring future next generation.
