Since their introduction in the 1970s, molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) have been greatly applied analytical chemistry as materials that enhance selectivity of methods. MIPs are mostly explored sample preparation methods, well electrochemical and chemical sensors. In recent years, these has performed on surface metal covalent organic frameworks (MIPs@MOFs COFs). This initiative is geared to improve performance further.
