The rising prevalence of chronic diseases could be mitigated by expanding community programs. This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility delivering a wellness program for older adults living with disease. A two-group randomized controlled study, blinded assessments, enrolling (≥50 years) disease, was conducted at Western Australian hub. Participants randomly allocated intervention participated in exercise groups and activity twice week. Both control received Fitbit™ workbook. primary outcomes were recruitment, retention, acceptability, suitability. secondary measured baseline 12 weeks included physical function (step count). There 126 approached, whom 22 (17.5%) recruited. Eighteen participants (mean age = 70.8 ± 8.1, n 8 intervention, 10 control) completed weeks. Two (25% adherence) over 70% sessions eight (44.4% retention) accepted an ongoing 3-month program. Health problems (30.2%) barriers both recruitment adherence. no significant between-group differences function. Physical significantly higher group compared (p 0.01). ABSTRACT Aim To evaluate the relationship between social isolation, loneliness and psychological well‐being in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Additionally, we examined mediating effect of activity on relationships well‐being. Design Cross‐sectional descriptive study. Methods A total 218 participants were recruited from outpatient clinic at a university hospital Turkey community membership patient support group. Participants provided their socio‐demographic disease‐related information completed (online paper based) Turkish Lubben Social Network Scale‐6, UCLA Loneliness Scale Short Form Psychological Well‐being Scale. The data analysed using univariate linear regression analysis. This study adhered to STROBE checklist for reporting. Results majority (72%) socially isolated, over half (54.1%) reported moderate high levels loneliness. also had low Linear analysis revealed that level isolation negative predictors results was mediated by activity. Conclusion In line findings, it can be recommended enhance networks, along regular evaluation, should integrated into holistic care approach IBD patients. Relevance Clinical Practice findings this hold significant implications management IBD, particularly within clinical settings Turkey. Despite the recognition of importance both formal and natural supports for adults with developmental disabilities, there is limited research on how organizations integrate these in Canadian context. Using a collective case study design, this explored three British Columbia, Canada, facilitate integration to improve lives disabilities. Data were collected through comprehensive document review, interviews, focus groups. The analysis was conducted multiple phases, focusing initially individual cases then cross-case themes. This revealed similarities differences across organizational approaches integrating disabilities their families. Key themes identified, including relationships work, creation brokered community connections, systemic changes innovative approaches, impact funding models support. findings highlight critical need build trust-based between staff people they serve provide flexible support that adapts changing needs circumstances, facilitated by funders allowing such flexibility. also underlines value establishing networks necessity cross-organizational partnerships foster innovation implement effective provision services
