ABSTRACT
Aim
To
evaluate
the
relationship
between
social
isolation,
loneliness
and
psychological
well‐being
in
patients
with
inflammatory
bowel
disease
(IBD).
Additionally,
we
examined
mediating
effect
of
activity
on
relationships
well‐being.
Design
Cross‐sectional
descriptive
study.
Methods
A
total
218
participants
were
recruited
from
outpatient
clinic
at
a
university
hospital
Turkey
community
membership
patient
support
group.
Participants
provided
their
socio‐demographic
disease‐related
information
completed
(online
paper
based)
Turkish
Lubben
Social
Network
Scale‐6,
UCLA
Loneliness
Scale
Short

The
data
analysed
using
univariate
linear
regression
analysis.

study

moderate

Despite

adults
with
developmental
disabilities,

on
how
organizations
integrate
these
in
Canadian

a
collective
case
study
design,

three
British
Columbia,
Canada,

integration
