This review explores solar dryers' use for agricultural products, focusing on their socioeconomic benefits in the community. Abstract This work evaluates the use of zinc oxide nanorods as intensifiers a latent heat thermal energy storage system working with adipic acid phase change material (PCM). By virtue not participating directly in solid–liquid and liquid–solid transition, ZnO-adipic composites (ZnO-adipic acid) possessed lower specific heat. Our results have shown that overall transfer coefficient during freezing PCM through to well-mixed liquid bath is amplified by 61%, when replaced 2 wt.% acid. Heterogenous nucleation due well-dispersed, ZnO caused this enhancement.
