Product refurbishment enhances waste minimization and environmental sustainability. However, the sale of these products relies on consumer attitudes, influenced by various factors. This study adopts a novel mixed-methods approach, utilizing structural network analysis based over 60,000 comments tweets from X.com (formerly Twitter), complemented insights expert interviews, to analyze factors affecting consumers viewpoints when making decisions about purchasing refurbished electronics. The research identifies prioritizes 17 key influencing factors, highlighting interplay between large-scale sentiment opinions. A customer-centric purchase decision model is presented, showing that priorities typically revolve around retailer reputation, brand, pricing, warranty, product quality. These findings offer valuable guidance for producers how target higher-priority concerns, ultimately helping expand their market boost intention.

The rapid growth of electronic waste (e-waste) worldwide is a pressing concern, as it contains both hazardous and valuable materials. To mitigate this issue, recycling refurbishing devices can help retain value reduce waste. However, there need for more information on consumers' attitudes towards refurbished (REDs). This study aims to investigate the awareness e-waste recycling, acceptance REDs, marketing strategies among young consumers. achieve this, we conducted mini-group interviews with 21 participants aged 20-24, allowing them share their thoughts experiences devices.This builds upon previous research, revealing consistent findings that emphasize importance notable disparity emerges: while all respondents agree recycle, over 30% keep unused or unwanted electronics at home. address collectors must clearly communicate what, where, how responsible disposal. For consumers, deciding factors when purchasing REDs are price, seller reputation, product quality, environmental benefits. Utilizing social media platforms effectively disseminate about affordability, ecological advantages electronics, thereby promoting sustainable approach.
