Limited
research
exists
on
safety
leadership
and
climate
in
developing
countries,
despite
their
established
importance
the
construction
industry.
This
study
addresses
this
gap
by
investigating
how
immediate
superiors’
behaviours
influence
perceptions
among
professionals
southern
India.
Using
a
quantitative
approach,
collected
valid
questionnaire
surveys
279
convenience
sampling
across
various
sites.
The
survey
revealed
that
significantly
positively
predicts
five
key
factors:
management’s
commitment
to
safety,
equipment
procedures,
training,
communication
openness,
group
dynamics
culture.
