Göç literatürü, savaş gibi nedenlerle göç etmek zorunda kalan insanların sıklıkla anksiyete ve depresyon psikolojik sosyal sorunlar yaşadığını göstermektedir. Son dönemde çalışmalarında, zorunlu göçmenleri yalnızca sorunlu ya da patolojik bireyler olarak görmek yerine güçlü yönlerini vurgulamanın önemli olduğunu savunan onların sorunlarına odaklanan yaklaşımlara karşı eleştiriler ortaya çıkmıştır. Dayanıklılık (resilience), mültecilerin hem sağlığı de sosyo-kültürel uyumu açısından bir rol oynamaktadır. Ancak literatürde bu konuda zengin veritabanı olmadığı gözlemlenmektedir. Bu eleştirilere dayanarak dayanıklılığını ekolojik yaklaşımla ele alan çalışmada, dayanıklılığın boyutuna Resilience Research Centre (RRC-ARM) tarafından hazırlanan Yetişkin Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Türkiye'nin Mardin il sınırları içinde yaşayan 323 Suriyeli geçici koruma statüsü sahibi yetişkinlerle yüz yüze anket yapılmıştır. Görüşmeler sırasında tercüman hazır bulunmuştur. Anket aracılığıyla katılımcıların sosyodemografik bilgileri dayanıklılık düzeyleri belirlenmiş değişkenler arasındaki ilişki t-testi ANOVA kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre, eğitim düzeyi işsizlik durumunun üzerinde etkisinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Potansiyel, acil gelecekteki sorunları aşmak için kaynak olan meslek (iş) fırsatlarıyla ilişkilendirilebileceği değerlendirilmiştir.

Refugees and asylum seekers bring with them a plurality of cultures, traditions, values that could prove crucial in influencing perceived health needs, requests for intervention, or willingness to undergo specific treatments. Although studies have focused on the consequences forced migration, recent years, there has been lack information how refugees represent their experiences needs elements influence well-being, community context. Introduction People seeking asylum are at increased risk of mental health difficulties due to premigration and postmigration experiences. The objective this review was understand how determination process in the EU+ UK influences seekers. Methods Web Science, MEDLINE, PsycINFO, PsychArticles Scopus were searched, with no start date specified, up 24 August 2023. Peer-reviewed studies eligible if they provided a qualitative analysis primary data from adult seekers refugees regarding lived experience procedures EU+, contextual factors associated well-being. protocol not preregistered. From total 4902 articles, duplicates removed, 3235 abstracts assessed remaining 113 identified for full-screen 39 relevant retrieved. Six further through citation searches. Results 45 included thematic synthesis, representing perspectives 1158 refugees. Themes demonstrate high levels psychological distress during after process. The emerging difficulties and tensions in establishing inclusive multicultural societies the contemporary globalised world have necessitated generation of ample empirical evidence support socioeconomic health benefits racial diversity. This study contributes to scholarly policy discourses by examining effect diversity on mental distress post-apartheid South Africa after several decades segregation. We used all five waves (2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2017) National Income Dynamics Survey (NIDS). After addressing endogeneity problem diversity-mental nexus, our findings show that an increase is associated with a decrease across 52 districts Africa. finding consistently established when different quasi-experimental methods alternative conceptualisations are employed generate results. also found decreases more among females urban residents. Further analyses revealed interracial trust serves as potential pathway through which transmits distress. argue people living highly racially diverse neighbourhoods experience their improved trust.

Abstract BACKGROUND Healthcare access and equity are human rights. Worldwide conflicts, violence, persecution have increased the number of refugees and/or asylum seekers. Because urban areas already densely populated, governments aimed to increase refugee resettlement in rural regional areas. complex healthcare needs refugees, this creates challenges for service providers. Identifying barriers accessing is therefore important better inform policy settings programmes that will provide culturally appropriate patient-centred care community. METHODS This review scoped 22 papers written English between 2018 July 2023 from five countries (Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Bangladesh, Lebanon) order an overview possible solutions facilitate refugees’ healthcare. This dissertation aimed to enhance the understanding of psychological assessment in relation work-related integration refugees through four empirical chapters.
