Biochar derived from poultry manure increases nutrient availability and promotes plant growth. This study investigated the effect of biochar with mycorrhizal and/or growth-promoting rhizobacteria on soil fertility, chemical properties, oil, seed yield Black Cumin (Nigella sativa L.) plants. A split-plot design three replicates was employed, litter (BC) applied at rates 0, 5, 10 t ha−1, beneficial microbes such as arbuscular fungi (AMF) (PGPR) affecting growth plants, some pH, electrical conductivity (EC), organic matter (SOM) fertility index (FI), showing significant differences (p ≤ 0.05) among bio-fertilizer treatments. All treatments or without bio-fertilizers significantly increased EC, OM FI in comparison to control treatment. The results demonstrated that applying highest rate (10 ha−1) fresh dry capsule weights by 94.51% 63.34%, respectively, compared treatment (C). These values were 53.05 18.37%, untreated plants when combined AMF PGPR. Furthermore, conjunction both PGPR, saw 208.84% 91.18%, interaction between biochar, AMF, PGPR improved growth, yield, fixed volatile oil content Cumin. findings suggest application enhances uptake, leading higher yields resulting production.

Cultivating crops in post-harvest areas of sun mushrooms presents an innovative alternative to reduce reliance on mineral fertilizers. Advances crop cultivation these could make this a sustainable solution for enhancing food security. We evaluated maize mushroom area, focusing soil and leaf macronutrient composition, yield factors, economic benefits. Four management practices were tested: area without fertilization (SMS); with at sowing (SMS + S); topdressing S TD); control standard fertilization. The SMS treatment maintained adequate pH electrical conductivity, the first crop, increased P, Ca, Mg levels by 5%, 140%, 23%, respectively, significantly affecting compared control. However, nutrient absorption faced challenges due nutritional imbalance Ca/Mg. In second TD was crucial higher yields (up 6500 kg ha-1) showed similarity Nearest Neighbor Analysis, particularly N content. Regarding benefits, reduced increasing net benefit up 380%, while became indispensable generating greatest benefit.

Abstract Role of varying C:N ratios biochar to enhance soil health and impacts across types remain inadequately understood. Therefore, this study aimed elucidate the mechanisms change in organic carbon (SOC) fractions greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions under nitrogen‐enriched (NB) application sandy loamy soil. A control (CK; without biochar) four types, including one pristine (PB) three NB (NB1, NB2, NB3), were applied at two rates (20 t ha −1 [L1] 40 [L2]). Biochar levels significantly influenced CH₄ CO₂ emissions. effectively reduced while increased both types. enhanced SOC pools, which is primarily attributed mineral‐associated particulate soils. β‐glucosidase, cellobiohydrolase, β‐xylosidase by NB, particularly a higher rate (L2) compared CK, with more pronounced increases Structural equation modeling showed that SOC. The results provide valuable insights for guiding applications reducing improving fertility, potential benefits diverse agroecosystems farming communities worldwide.
