Abiotic stresses are considered as a significant factor restricting horticultural crop productivity and quality. Drought stress is major environmental constraint among the emerging concerns. Plants have susceptibility to drought stress, resulting in marked decline production during last several decades. The development of effective strategies mitigate essential for sustainable agriculture food security, especially considering continuous growth world population. Several studies suggested that exogenous application phytohormone plants can improve tolerance by activating molecular physiological defense systems. Phytohormone pretreatment potential approach alleviating plants. In addition, melatonin, salicylic acid, jasmonates, strigolactones, brassinosteroids, gamma-aminobutyric acid phytohormones function regulators effects stress. These hormones frequently interact with one another survival drought-stressed environments. To sum up, this review will predominantly elucidate role related mechanisms across various horticulture species.

Tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) is a major threat to crops, making the discovery of green biopesticides essential. Herein, we present two active ingredients derived from medicinal plant Dendrobium findlayanum, findlayine A (1) and dendrofindline B (2), as promising precursor compounds for TMV inhibitors. Among them, 2 inhibited infestation on tobacco leaves at rate 38.6%, which was close that commercial antiviral agent ningnanmycin (43.1%). Both 1 could effectively alleviate destruction leaf protoplasts by infestation, enhance resistance affecting activities phenylalaninammo-nialyase (PAL), peroxidase (POD) superoxide dismutase (SOD). Additionally, significantly down-regulated expression coat protein (CP) CP-mediated aggregation TMV, thereby reducing its capacity. This study systematically investigated mechanism anti-TMV activity diterpenoid alkaloids D. with view providing new insights into creation novel agents.

This study aimed to evaluate the impact of a more cost-efficient strigolactone mimic SL-6 on Chlorella sorokiniana NIVA-CHL 176 growth in comparison with analog GR24 and plant biostimulant functions microalgal extracts. Three molar concentrations were tested: 10-7 M, 10-8 10-9 respectively. Five parameters assessed: optical density, turbidity, biomass production, chlorophyll fluorescence, pigment concentration. Results after 15 days culturing revealed that treatments significantly enhanced production (13.53% at M), synthesis, photosystem II activity (14.38% M). The highest increases pigments induced by 15.7% for (at M SL-6), 12.87% b 2.3% carotenoids 10.78% total SL-6) per gram compared solvent control (DMSO).
