The soybean yield per unit area in Xinjiang has reached a high level, with the crop maturing quickly because of higher temperatures and levels mechanization. However, environmental factors cause flowers pods to shed easily, limiting potential. Efficient plant growth regulators (PGRs) used increase yields have gained popularity, but their effectiveness reducing flower pod shedding, considering such as environment, variety, time spraying, remains unclear. This study investigated whether spraying several PGRs could reduce shedding. Field experiments were conducted from 2022 2024 Ili, Xinjiang, China, using α-naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA), prohexadione-calcium (Pro-Ca), iron chlorine e6 (ICE6) foliar applications 300, 450, 45 g ha−1 at four-node stage (V4) full (R4). All PGR treatments reduced shedding over years resulted an average numbers compared normal-growth-treated (CK) soybeans. effective slowing during critical formation (R4) ensured stable flower-to-pod conversion rate was after plants than for CK group, retention beginning maturity (R7). Our results demonstrated that (NAA, Pro-Ca, ICE6) effectively optimized distribution, increased findings provide useful reference global growers optimize planting methods.
