Beer production consumes significant amounts of water, energy, and raw materials, results in the various by-products, including wastewater, brewers’ spent grain, yeast hop. To lower its environmental footprint, by-products may be reclaimed or valorized agro-food, cosmetic, material, chemical industries, etc. According to most recent research, breweries have potential become biorefineries, as they can extract diverse valuable plant-based compounds such carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, phenolic compounds, platform chemicals, biopolymers. These biomolecules possess bioactive physicochemical properties, which enhanced through recovery processes. Brewery utilized industries within bioeconomy frame. In agro-food systems, extracts increase final products’ techno-functionalities. Such additives also help creating marketing labels clean-label healthy, further attract customers. Businesses gain economic socio-environmental benefits by implementing sustainable practices, improve their corporate image. This article outlines advancements processing valorization brewery ultimately defining an up-to-date, strategy for clean beer production.
