The current work describes the synthesis of carbonaceous composites via pyrolysis, based on CMF, extracted from Alfa fibers, and Moroccan clay ghassoul (Gh), for potential use in heavy metal removal wastewater. Following synthesis, (ca-Gh) material was characterized using X-ray fluorescence (XRF), Scanning Electron Microscopy coupled with Energy Dispersive (SEM-EDX), zeta-potential Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET). then used as an adsorbent cadmium (Cd2+) aqueous solutions. Studies were conducted into effect dosage, kinetic time, initial concentration Cd2+, temperature also pH effect. Thermodynamic tests demonstrated that adsorption equilibrium attained within 60 min allowing determination capacity studied materials. investigation kinetics reveals all data could be fit by pseudo-second-order model. Langmuir isotherm model might fully describe isotherms. experimental maximum found to 20.6 mg g-1 261.9 Gh ca-Gh, respectively. thermodynamic parameters show Cd2+ onto investigated is spontaneous endothermic.

Industrial textile discharges are widespread causes of water pollution that threaten the ecosystem and health. This research paper focuses on removal two toxic dyes methylene blue (MB) crystal violet (CV) by muscovite clay (Mus-C) while studying selectivity, sensitivity, different possible interactions to understand adsorption mechanism. The Mus-C material was characterized several instrumental techniques including XRD, FTIR, SEM-EDX, TGA/DTA, pHpzc, Boehm surface functions. high efficiency is reflected rates MB CV which about 98.25% 99.7% respectively, under 25 °C, pH = 6, dye concentration 70 mg L−1, adsorbent dose 1.5 g L−1. kinetics isotherm follow pseudo-second-order Langmuir models with monolayer capacities 66.95 g−1 69.54 respectively. thermodynamic characteristics demonstrate process spontaneous, physical, endothermic. rate values predicted response approach were consistent experimental in order 99.98% 99.89% performance according tomato bean germination test its regeneration capacity cycles shows a promising effective technology treatment complex wastewater.

This study utilised activated carbon, synthesised with H3PO4 as an active agent (referred to C-H3PO4), adsorbent for the removal of tetracycline (TC), a commonly used pharmaceutical compound. The carbon underwent characterisation through SEM-EDS, FTIR, and XRD analyses. C-H3PO4 particles were found range in size from 63 50 µm possessed acidic functions within surface area 590 mmol/g. To assess adsorptive performance relation tetracycline, several operational parameters investigated, including contact time, temperature, pH, concentration compound, dosage. Optimal conditions determined follows: pH 2.8, TC 15 mg/L, temperature 308 K, dosage 90 mg, utilising design experiments (DOE/FFD) parameter optimisation. In addition, analysis variance (ANOVA) three-dimensional plots created evaluate interaction between factors ideal removing tetracycline. maximum adsorption capacity onto was be 7.41 mg/g. experimental data best fitted using pseudo-second-order Freundlich models, suggesting multilayer physisorption phenomenon.
