The increasing presence of antibiotics in wastewater poses significant environmental risks, including the promotion antibiotic resistance and harm to aquatic ecosystems. This study reviews advancements graphene-based technologies for removing from between 2016 2024. Graphene-based platforms, such as graphene oxide (GO), reduced (rGO), composites, have shown great promise this field because their exceptional adsorption capacities rapid photocatalytic degradation capabilities. Functionalized materials integrated with other substances, metal oxides polymers, enhanced performance terms removal through mechanisms photocatalysis. These been evaluated under various conditions, pH temperature, demonstrating practical applicability. Despite challenges related scalability, cost-effectiveness, impact, during period highlight potential effective removal, paving way safer more sustainable management practices.
