The combination of the catalytic properties Al2O3/TiO2 formed an efficient system to degrade ubiquitous pollutants TPA and PET. coating (Al2O3)0.75TiO2 was characterized by X-ray diffraction. Stainless steel disks with photo-catalyst were placed transversely in a 3.0 L vertical glass reactor ascending airflow for supplying oxygen reaction medium visible light lamps photo-activation. analysis homogeneity, morphology particle size distribution TiO2 coatings confirmed SEM. Optical band-gap energy calculated using Tauc equation. UV–Vis spectrophotometry (UV–Vis) chemical demand (COD) quantitative techniques measure reduction initial PET concentrations.
