AbstractA simple method for creating Ag/CeO2 composites involves the reaction between components of an aqueous salt solution and ammonia vapor at gas-solution interface. The concentrations reagents time determine structure composition composite films formed on surface. When concentration ratio AgNO3/Ce(NO3)3 in is 1/1, a film consisting Ag nanowires Ceria nanoflakes. A model interaction liquid-gas interface proposed. have dual capabilities, enabling efficient photodegradation Methylene Blue organic molecules improved SERS detection Rhodamine 6G dye as low 10-9 mol/L. synergistic effect morphology properties was observed obtained within 7 minutes interaction.
