Titanium dioxide thin films on the inner wall of quartz tubes were prepared in situ by sol–gel method. Meanwhile, copper and cerium loaded onto surface titanium to enhance photocatalytic activity broaden range light absorption. X-ray diffractometer, photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectrum, N2 gas adsorption, UV diffuse reflectance paramagnetic resonance, photoluminescene so used characterize structure, morphology, chemical composition, optical properties photocatalyst. Methylene blue (MB) was as a simulated organic pollutant study performance photocatalyst, which translucent, structurally stable, reusable high-efficiency catalyst. Under lamp irradiation, MB photodegradation efficiency 94.5%, reached 91.2% after multiple cycles.
