The oxide "skin" that is easily formed on the surface of liquid gallium plays an important role in controlling wettability gallium. However, oxidation mechanism still under debate. Herein, experiments and reactive molecular dynamics simulations were performed to systematically investigate nanoparticles (GNPs). This study reveals cracking wrinkling behaviors during process, which kinetically driven by synergistic effect core flow. behavior facilitates morphological transformation GNPs from a core-shell structure spherical crown-like structure. A higher temperature would transform nucleation mode chain-like island-like, leading "crater" oxides. Our findings are favorable for understanding atomic-scale GNPs, could have practical significance production patterned circuit filling materials.
