This
study
explores
the
acceptance
of
ChatGPT
as
a
tool
for
learning
Chinese
by
international
students,
using
Technology
Acceptance
Model
(TAM)
framework
and
mixed-methods
approach.First,
partial
least
squares
structural
equation
model
(PLS-SEM)
was
developed
based
on
survey
data
from
132
language
learners.Subsequently,
thematic
analysis
conducted
semi-structured
interview
10
these
students.The
results
showed
that
perceived
ease
use
significantly
influenced
behavioral
intention
to
through
mediating
effect
usefulness.Moreover,
growth
mindset
facilitating
conditions
directly
affected
use,
usefulness,
varying
degrees.Additionally,
students
reported
both
useful

in
supporting
their
learning,
while
expressing
diverse
attitudes,
emotional
reactions,

only
expands
application

settings
but
also

artificial
intelligence
enhance
experiences
outcomes

Abstract
Metaverse
has
garnered
considerable
attention
in
recent
times.
Given
its
swift
pace
of
development,
it
is
imperative
to
study
the
adoption
metaverse.

perceptions
and

metaverse
among

Z
millennials
by
employing
a
sequential
mixed‐methods
approach.

Background

Abstract
While
ChatGPT
has
received
increasing
attention
in
the
age
of
artificial
intelligence,
little
effort
been
made
to
investigate
Chinese
as
a
foreign
language
(CFL)
learners’
acceptance
use
for
learning.
This
mixed-method
study
aims
unpack
CFL
intentions
and
perceptions
leveraging
learning
purposes
by
integrating
technology
model
social
cognitive
theory.
