ABSTRACT The inherent benefits of Raman spectroscopy make it a suitable tool for the analysis complex biological objects. Detection and imaging mammalian cells is one its development areas. Plasmonic tags endowed with alkyne reporter intended bioimaging by surface‐enhanced scattering in silent region are presented. Gold nanorods covalently conjugated 4‐aminotolane were obtained using dithiobis (succinimidyl propionate) characterized UV–Vis absorbance, transmission electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering. Verification surface amide bonds formation was performed attenuated total reflectance X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Surface‐enhanced spectra registered various media compared feedback from similar system through non‐specific adsorption on gold nanorods. Cytotoxicity itself conjugates verified HeLa cell line. Spectral mapping scanning microscopy revealed localized intracellular accumulation tags. challenge associated reduced area due to aggregates inside pointed out.
