An agrotechnological district (ATD) integrates sustainable agricultural practices and technologies, aiming to transform rural communities by stimulating socioeconomic development addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Ingaí, a dairy-producing municipality in Minas Gerais, Brazil, stands benefit from implementation of an ATD. This study aimed identify opportunities challenges for ATD municipality, considering its characteristics, level producers’ technological adoption, connectivity infrastructure, support networks, market management. The method was based on exploratory case study, using semi-structured group interviews data collection, conducted March 2024, with stakeholders. As result, key emerged: limited infrastructure; ineffective property management; family succession problems; barriers accessing credit; resistance adoption technologies; dependence local government. Opportunities included strengthening networks among agents productive activity; promotion technology producers; creating training extension programs. these initiatives can stimulate Ingaí’s economic social development, generate multiplier effects region influence, serve as model other state main dairy hub country, one primary drivers Brazilian agribusiness.

Purpose This study aims to examine the potential adaptability and resilience of rural micro-businesses within a business environment affected by successive crises, specifically drawing conclusions on crisis management, while simultaneously highlighting enterprises’ capabilities in managing current energy crisis, basis experiences best practices that they themselves have gained previously. Design/methodology/approach Convenience sampling was applied, effectively identifying 18 micro-entrepreneurs Greece. Subsequently, qualitative research conducted through semi-structured in-depth interviews. Findings Rural shown both economic health crises financial support received interventions implemented. Developing innovative, eco-friendly fungicide alternatives is crucial to mitigate the substantial threat fungal pathogens pose crop yields. In this study, we assessed in vitro effectiveness of SiO2, CuO, and γFe2O3 nanoparticles against Rhizoctonia solani. Furthermore, greenhouse experiments were conducted artificially infested soil evaluate vivo impact under study. Two application methods employed: drenching with 10 mL per pot at concentrations 50, 100, 200 mg L−1, seedling dipping nanoparticle suspensions each concentration combined drench. The treatment L−1 or CuO showed highest antifungal activity. Conversely, SiO2 demonstrated lowest Notably, mg/L via decreased counts silicate-solubilizing bacteria Azospirillum spp. Whereas, 100 increased bacterial counts, 50 through had dehydrogenase value. improved plant photosynthetic pigments, reduced malondialdehyde levels, minimized membrane leakage lettuce plants. This work aims to provide a systematic literature review on the interaction between universities and agri-food industry in knowledge transfer processes. The objective is an overview of studies that analysed this phenomenon identify (i) what has already been investigated, (ii) are main contributions industry's innovation process, (iii) potential future research directions related topic. Our study highlighted U-I interactions take place at four different levels, namely technological-level, capability-level, organisational-level, relational-level. Across these levels interaction, it emerged played prominent role process innovative transformation through technology developments within R&D collaborative programmes. We propose avenues for implications practitioners policymakers.

Introduction There is a global priority to ensure food security, environmental conservation and sustainability. The adoption of inputs such as organic manures, biofertilisers, biopesticides has been widely promoted way enhance agricultural sustainability, yet their rates remain notably low. study examines the determinants impact multiple sustainable by paddy farmers in India. also drivers behind intensity technical efficiency. Methods utilises survey dataset on from “Situation Assessment Agricultural Households Land Livestock Holdings Rural India” 77th National Sample Survey (NSSO) round. reference period for data collection was year July 2018 June 2019. analytical methods employed include Multivariate Probit Ordered models, Seemingly Unrelated Regression, Regression Adjustment model, Stochastic Frontier method. Results empirical findings reveal that depend significantly factors household head’s age education, size, access extension services. Adopting significant benefits, increased harvest value. However, currently available advisory services are limited effectively promoting expenditure inputs. Technical efficiency analysis underscores potential improvement importance utilising optimal input levels. research provide strong evidence favour advocating use farming.
